As a result of the drone attack on the morning of January 22 in Mykolaiv, the attic floor of an apartment building was partially destroyed. «The fire in the apartment on the sixth floor, which covered an area of 100 square meters, has been extinguished. 200 people were evacuated from the building, and now everyone has returned to their homes», — stated the local authorities.
The State Emergency Service added that the blast wave damaged window glazing in four apartment buildings and one private residential building. Two people were injured in the attack, including a 74-year-old woman who was hospitalized, and a man with an acute stress reaction. He received first aid but refused hospitalization.
«In addition to the buildings, several units of electric transport and the transport of the enterprise's structural divisions were damaged, — later wrote the city's mayor Oleksandr Senkevych on Telegram. — Also, due to the elimination of the consequences of the shelling today, January 22, the distribution of purified water by tram and trolleybus will not be carried out. The movement of electric transport on the city's routes will operate according to schedules».
The day before, a Russian drone struck a residential area in Sumy. As reported by the State Emergency Service, the upper floor of a two-story private residential building was partially destroyed, and a fire broke out. Rescuers extinguished the fire.
Four adults and a five-year-old child were injured, 25 private houses and enterprise premises were damaged, — reported the National Police.
