The immigration service banned him from entering Israel, but the security service allowed him entry after additional checks

Four people were injured on Tuesday evening by a terrorist, after which he was shot, reported the rescue service and Israeli police. This is the second knife attack in Tel Aviv in the last three days.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service reported that all the victims are men aged 24 to 59, two of whom are in moderate condition.

The attacker was a Moroccan citizen, Abdelaziz Kaddi, a holder of a US green card. Kaddi was noticed by the security service when he arrived in the country on January 18, but was still allowed entry, reported The Times of Israel. According to Interior Minister Moshe Arbel, immigration service staff determined that Kaddi posed a threat when he arrived at Ben Gurion Airport and attempted to deny him entry. He was handed over to security service staff for questioning. "To my regret, they decided to allow him entry into Israel," the statement from Arbel said. He urged Shin Bet head Ronen Bar to investigate the incident.

The security service reported that after entering Israel, Kaddi underwent a security check, including questioning, after which it was decided that there were no grounds to deny him entry into the country.
