On January 13, in Moscow, in a building where various structures of the Ministry of Defense and the FSB Directorate for the Moscow Military District are located, an officer of the FSB counterintelligence department, Vladimir Feschenko, was shot, RBC reports, citing a source in law enforcement agencies.
According to the publication's interlocutor, the main version is manslaughter, with a gunshot wound to the head. «It is possible that the shot was fired as a result of a quarrel between two men,» — the source noted.
As reported by the channel «VChK-OGPU»*, FSB Senior Lieutenant Feschenko brought a friend to his department — a certain warrant officer with whom he once served in the Far East. The guest had a train ticket departing from Moscow at night. Vladimir Feschenko decided to spend time with his friend and informed his relatives that he would be late.
TASS claims that the cause of the murder was a domestic conflict with a military man. The suspect has been detained, and a criminal case has been opened.
According to the media, Feschenko was a master of sports of international class and holds the title of Russian champion in kettlebell lifting.
