The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, submitted a bill to the Legislative Assembly to increase the regional payment for signing a contract with the Russian army from 600 thousand to 2 million rubles, writes the publication «7×7»*.
After the bill is passed, the total amount for going to war for residents of the region will increase from 1.1 to 2.5 million rubles, taking into account the federal payment of 400 thousand and the district payment of 100 thousand rubles.
Since January 1, the authorities of the Samara region introduced a record payment of 4 million rubles for signing a contract. Authorities in three other Russian regions also increased payments for signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In Chuvashia, volunteers were promised 1.4 million rubles (previously it was 1 million), in the Smolensk region the payment was raised to 1.2 million (previously — 1 million), and in Bashkiria until March 31, they offered a one-time payment of 1.6 million (it was 505 thousand). In the capital of Bashkiria, Ufa, an additional 700 thousand rubles is paid from the city budget for signing a contract.
