According to law enforcement, they 'organized the activities of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the movement “AllatRa”*, founded in Ukraine'

The FSB detained seven residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in a case involving participation in the activities of the Ukrainian religious movement “AllatRa”, recognized as 'undesirable' in Russia, the regional office of the Investigative Committee reported.

According to the investigation, the suspects 'led and organized the activities of the Krasnoyarsk structural unit of the pseudo-religious movement “AllatRa”, founded in Ukraine', and also, through a closed chat, 'maintaining measures of secrecy', recruited new members into the organization, held meetings and events. Searches were conducted in the homes of the detainees, and law enforcement seized items and literature 'relevant to the investigation'. The detainees are charged with organizing the activities of an 'undesirable' organization in Russia. They face up to six years in prison.

The “AllatRa” movement was founded in Ukraine in 2011. The participants position themselves as a public union, operating outside of politics and religion. Its followers believe that in a spiritual sense, all people are united, but they are divided by material beginnings: separate nations, states, and religions.

In August 2023, the Prosecutor General's Office recognized the “AllatRa” movement as an 'undesirable' organization. According to the agency, organization participants 'receive instructions from Ukrainian curators on the need to establish contacts with representatives of opposition forces and conduct coordinated actions to discredit the policies of federal and regional authorities'.

Since 2015, foreign or international organizations can be recognized as 'undesirable' if, in the opinion of the authorities, they pose a 'threat to the foundations of the constitutional order of the Russian Federation, the country's defense capability, or state security'. Such organizations are prohibited from operating in the country.

* Recognized in Russia as an 'undesirable' organization.
