19-year-old Vishan Tazurkaev from the Chechen city of Argun died after being kidnapped and tortured in a police department, a source on the website «Kavkaz.Realii»* reported and confirmed by the opposition telegram channel NIYSO.
Tazurkaev was accused of aiding in drug storage — previously his colleague was kidnapped under the same suspicion.
As NIYSO writes, Tazurkaev was kidnapped at his workplace and held in the Argun police department, where he was tortured with electricity.
«Realizing the boy was dead, the staff followed the standard FSB procedure — Vishan's body was brought to his parents and ordered to be buried, and everyone was told to explain the death as a suicide», claims the channel.
As noted by «Kavkaz.Realii», last summer the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs department in Argun became police colonel Zaur Nasukhanov, a former member of the rapid response units «Akhmat» and «Terek», he also participated in the invasion of Ukraine.
According to NIYSO, one of the latest kidnappings in Argun occurred on December 29, 2024, 17-year-old Ramzan Vanaev was taken from work, and now a ransom is being demanded for him.
