All charges are based on correspondence with a representative of the "Ukrainian terrorist organization"

According to the FSB, the resident of Priamurye was a "follower and supporter" of an organization banned in Russia. He engaged in correspondence with a representative of the "Ukrainian terrorist organization" to gain "knowledge and skills" in explosive ordnance, the agency's message states. After that, he acquired components for the production of an improvised explosive device.

According to the special service, in October the man himself suggested to the "curator from Ukraine" to carry out a sabotage-terrorist act on the Belogorsk - Ukraine railway section of the Amur Region, which has "key significance for the uninterrupted federal transport communication, military and logistical supply of the special military operation and new regions of the Russian Federation".

In addition, the FSB claims that the man was planning to go to Ukraine to fight in that country against Russia.

A criminal case was initiated against the Amur resident for preparing sabotage by an organized group and preparing for the activities of a terrorist organization. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
