«In February, we face three tragic dates: 10 years since the day Boris Nemtsov was shot, 3 years since the start of the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, a year since the murder of Alexei Navalny*. Behind all these events stands the figure of Vladimir Putin. It is he who sent troops to the territory of the neighboring state, unleashing the bloodiest war in Europe since World War II. It is he who personally gives orders for the physical elimination of his main political opponents in Russia», — the statement says.
The organizers appealed to all anti-war and democratic movements and organizations of Russians with a proposal to join forces and jointly organize a march on March 1 in Berlin and around the world.
On November 17, an anti-war march organized by Navalnaya, Yashin, and Kara-Murza already took place in Berlin. According to Berlin police, about 2 thousand people participated in the procession. Solidarity actions took place around the world.
