The Borzinsky Garrison Military Court in Transbaikalia fined Yulia Podoynitsyna 3 million rubles on December 9, finding her guilty under the article on military 'fakes', reported 'Mediazona'*.

Podoynitsyna served with the rank of junior sergeant in unit 06705 stationed in Borzya and was a soloist in the military orchestra that attended the funerals of servicemen.

During the discussion and coordination of another trip, colleagues began to argue about whether there were civilians among those killed as a result of Russian shelling of Ukrainians. Podoynitsyna, who has relatives in Ukraine, said that civilians were also dying. As an argument, she sent a link to a YouTube video about civilian casualties in Ukraine. In response, opponents called her a 'Banderite', defending 'fascists'. The woman sent her interlocutors a YouTube video that talked about civilian casualties.

Realizing the possible consequences in the form of criminal liability or dismissal, the woman deleted the video a few minutes later, but one of the colleagues took his phone to the counterintelligence officer at the military unit and reported the incident. The video was restored. As a result of a preliminary investigation, the information presented in it was recognized as 'fake'.

During the investigation, the woman was under a travel ban.

In court, Podoynitsyna partially admitted guilt.
