The Poltavsky District Court of the Omsk region on November 18 announced the verdict in the fourth case against local resident 55-year-old Roman Tyurin*, by partially combining with previous terms, the man was sentenced to six and a half years in a general regime colony, reported the human rights project «OVD-Info»**. The reason for the criminal prosecution in all criminal cases was posts on «Odnoklassniki».

On November 18, Tyurin was sentenced to four years in prison in the case of «calls for activities against state security» and «repeated propaganda of symbols of banned organizations».

In October, Tyurin was sentenced to one year in prison under the article on «discrediting» the army due to an anti-war publication on «Odnoklassniki». In June, he was sentenced to six years in a colony for spreading military «fakes» due to a series of posts on the same social network. In February, Tyurin was sentenced to four years in a colony under the article on «justification of terrorism».

According to «OVD-Info», the punishment of 6.5 years in a colony was assigned to Tyurin by partially combining with previous terms. In addition to imprisonment, the man was also sentenced to restricted freedom for four years and seven months after serving the main sentence. He was also banned from administering websites for one year.

In February, Tyurin was included in the list of «terrorists and extremists» by Rosfinmonitoring.

Before the criminal cases, Tyurin was already fined under administrative articles on «discrediting» the army and «propaganda of Nazi symbols», also based on posts on «Odnoklassniki».
