The independent publication 'Govorít NeMoskva', which specializes in regional news, was also declared a 'foreign agent'.

Chechen political and public figure Tumso Abdurakhmanov, one of the most well-known critics of Ramzan Kadyrov, and 'Mediazona' journalist Dmitry Treshchanin, in addition to their anti-war stance and living outside Russia, according to the Ministry of Justice, spread 'unreliable information' about the Russian authorities, 'formed a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation', and also participated in the creation and dissemination of materials from other 'foreign agents' for an unlimited audience.

Comedian Denis Chuzhoy, in addition to speaking out against the Special Military Operation and spreading information discrediting the Russian authorities, was accused of participating in the creation of materials for an 'undesirable' organization in Russia.

The independent publication 'Govorít NeMoskva', with 45,000 subscribers on Telegram, which covers regional issues, opposed the war in Ukraine, and also spreads 'unreliable information' about events in Russia, interacts with 'foreign agents'. One of the reasons for including the publication in the register of 'foreign agents' was that the creators of the project live outside the Russian Federation.

The unified register of 'foreign agents' has been maintained since December 1, 2022, and includes individuals, registered and unregistered non-commercial and non-governmental organizations. Currently, it contains 885 entries. 'Foreign agents' are required to publish texts and messages with a notification that they are produced by a 'foreign agent'. Fines are imposed for evading the duties of a 'foreign agent', and repeated violations of the law result in criminal liability.
