As reported by The New York Times, Wiles demonstrated the ability to survive in Trump's chaotic management style, which led to four chiefs of staff changes during his first term. She worked on Trump's campaigns in 2016 and 2020, returning to the campaign in 2021, she became the only campaign manager who endured the entire marathon. Most of Trump's team wanted to see Wiles as the Chief of Staff. She has close relationships with Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and the Trump family, including his two eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric.
Additionally, key government positions are being discussed for Republican candidates such as Marco Rubio and Richard Grenell, who are mentioned as possible contenders for the Secretary of State position. Also, Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State under Trump, is being considered for the position of Secretary of Defense.
