As reported by the publication “People of Baikal”, employees of educational and cultural institutions complain about the withholding of bonuses. There was no official order, but the leaders reported this verbally.
An employee of a cultural institution in the Ust-Kut district said that at the end of October, a conference call was held where regional officials announced the withholding of part of the incentive payments because “there is not enough money for the SMO.” Such payments are calculated separately for each employee. At the end of the year, large incentives are paid, which can range from 10 to 40 thousand rubles and more. They were divided over three months, but the last part has not been received: “It was precisely this that was taken for the needs of the army.”
Employees of educational institutions in other districts of the region also told “People of Baikal” about the reduction of bonuses. “We are simply presented with the fact — girls, part of the bonus will be directed to the SMO. We were not asked if we wanted it or not. We did not sign any papers,” said one of the educators.
The education department of one of the districts called the reports of bonus reductions “not corresponding to reality”, clarifying that only the increase in the average salary had been suspended since September.
Meanwhile, in the Voronezh region, payments for assistance in recruitment for the war were increased to 75 thousand rubles, as reported in the regional government's telegram channel. Previously, the payment “for assistance in recruitment for service” was 50 thousand rubles. The increase in payment is due to the fact that the “work” of recruiting for the war “requires careful attention to candidates, knowledge of current support measures, as well as a certain amount of time.”
