Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs, four people died, 33 were injured

UPD: The number of victims has increased to 4 people, the number of injured to 33 people, Ivan Fedorov reported

On the afternoon of November 7, the Russian army launched another massive strike on Zaporizhzhia, aerial bombs hit residential buildings and an oncology hospital. The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported five strikes, adding that one person died, ten people were injured, including a one-year-old child. Later, rescuers reported that the number of injured increased to 18 people. One injured person and a medical facility worker are in serious condition.

"I dug up the child first, then the guys came and got my wife out," said one of the injured to the local publication "5 Redaktsiya". At the time of the shelling, his wife and child were at home. He does not know about her condition, but the child showed signs of life when the man pulled him out from under the rubble.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that in Zaporizhzhia, an ordinary residential apartment building and private houses were destroyed, and the oncology hospital building was damaged.

"Every such Russian strike not only kills people and destroys lives but also nullifies any words about allegedly lacking talks with Russia, some calls to the Kremlin. They take pleasure in the death of people. And therefore, air defense for Ukraine, the ability to destroy Russian military aviation, permission for Ukraine for long-range strikes against the occupier—this is true protection of life. And I am grateful to everyone in the world who helps with this," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
