In the Volokonovsky district of the Belgorod region, a man died as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone, reported the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov. He died from severe injuries sustained in the explosion of the device before the ambulance arrived. Two private houses were also damaged in the shelling.
Four more people were injured in the shelling of the village of Oktyabrsky in the Belgorod district. Two women and a man have various shrapnel wounds to their arms and legs, while the fourth victim has a closed head injury and a shrapnel wound to the face. In the village, seven apartments, five private houses, three stores, and 21 cars were damaged.
In Shebekino, production facilities were damaged as a result of an attack by seven drones.
In September, the chairman of the Belgorod Regional Duma, Yuri Klopikov, reported that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 250 people have died in the region, and one and a half thousand have been injured.
