The girl posted a video on TikTok in which she chooses between the flags of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, favoring the latter

The police in the city of Saky in annexed Crimea drew up a protocol against the mother of a 10-year-old schoolgirl for failing to fulfill parental duties due to the girl's video, in which they found 'discreditation' of the Russian troops, reported the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.

The juvenile affairs department staff found the child's video during social media monitoring. 'The staff <...> identified a video whose content is aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of Russia and desecrating the state flag,' the message states. In the short TikTok video, the girl chooses between the flags of the Russian Federation and Ukraine — she placed an angry emoji next to the Russian symbol and a heart and a bandaged head emoji next to the Ukrainian one.

Due to her age, the girl cannot be charged under the article, so her 38-year-old mother was held administratively responsible. A protocol was drawn up against the woman for failing to fulfill duties regarding the care and upbringing of minors, writes RBC. She faces a fine of up to 5,000 rubles or administrative arrest for up to five days. The case materials will also be forwarded for consideration to the city commission on juvenile affairs.
