Ilya Yashin*, Yulia Navalnaya** and Vladimir Kara-Murza* called on Russians to join the anti-war march in Berlin

2024.10.30

They announced the demands of the rally: withdraw Russian troops from Ukraine, try Vladimir Putin as a war criminal, and release all political prisoners

The anti-war rally will take place on November 17, reported Ilya Yashin on his Telegram channel. «Our political demands are very simple, and anyone can agree with them. We demand to strip Putin of presidential powers and try him as a murderer and war criminal. We demand the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine. We demand the immediate release of all political prisoners held in Putin's dungeons», — the opposition figures stated.

As Yashin noted, today there is no possibility to hold legal protests in Russia — people there are brutally beaten and given huge sentences. «But we can still show that a peaceful, free, and civilized Russia exists. We exist, we are not silent, and we act together», — the politician believes.

On November 17, Yashin, Navalnaya, and Kara-Murza will join the march in Berlin and call on everyone who shares their demands to participate in this march. Those who cannot come to the capital of Berlin can join an anti-war rally in their city, the politicians suggest, noting that the main goal is to show anti-war Russia and support those Russians who «remain hostages of Putin».
