On the night of October 29, Kharkiv, which had already been hit by KABs on Monday evening, was attacked again. The targets were private residential houses, four people died — two women and two men, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov. “At 03:00, they hit the Osnoviansky district in Kharkiv. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a private house,” the official said, adding that one private house was completely destroyed, and two more were damaged.
Later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that about 20 houses were damaged. Emergency rescue operations continued for several hours, and the bodies of the deceased were found under the rubble.
After the evening attack with KABs, nine people were injured. A medical facility building was damaged, as well as the Derzhprom building (House of State Industry), which is a monument of national significance.
On Monday evening, Russian troops also struck Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, a three-story residential building was destroyed, and a 39-year-old man died.

“12 injured, three in the operating room, two of them men — very severe. Many damaged houses, broken windows, balconies,” reported the local administration. Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that a medical facility, cars, and a gas pipeline were also damaged.
The capital of Ukraine was attacked by “Shaheds” at night. Air defense forces shot down all drones, but debris fell on residential areas, injuring six people. The Kyiv administration noted that this was the 18th air attack since the beginning of October. The air raid alert was announced twice in Kyiv overnight, lasting a total of more than four hours.
Volodymyr Zelensky published footage of the destruction in the Derzhprom building in Kharkiv — “one of the most famous buildings in the world in the constructivism style, under temporary enhanced protection by UNESCO,” and also spoke about a missile hitting a residential building in Kryvyi Rih.
“Every handshake with the war criminal Putin gives him confidence. Every polite smile convinces him that his crimes can go unpunished. Instead of flirting with him, we must force him to peace through our collective determination.
Appeasement never brings peace — it only fuels the aggressor's appetite. Instead, we must isolate the aggressor and increase pressure on him until he stops the terror. Adhering to common principles saves human lives and cultural heritage. Disregarding them brings death and destruction,” Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
