On the morning of October 21, Russian troops launched a missile strike on a residential area in the center of Zaporizhzhia. Nine people were injured, a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman are in serious condition, reported the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov. A large amount of civilian infrastructure was damaged, particularly a kindergarten.
"A two-story kindergarten building was partially destroyed. Passenger cars parked nearby were damaged by the blast wave and debris," rescuers reported.
The previous evening, Russia attacked Kharkiv with CABs, injuring 12 people, including a child. Residential buildings, gas stations, and cars were damaged. Power outages began after the attack.
