The Southern District Military Court sentenced a resident of annexed Sevastopol to 21 years of imprisonment on charges of 'treason' and preparing for arson, reported the agency 'Interfax' with reference to the regional FSB department. He will spend the first four years in prison, the rest of the term in a high-security colony.

According to the intelligence service, the 48-year-old man was recruited by the SBU in 2022 and passed on data about military facilities in Sevastopol, as well as planned to set fire to an administrative building.

In addition to 'treason' and 'preparation for a terrorist attack', the Sevastopol resident was also accused of undergoing 'terrorism training', where and how he did this is not specified.
