The prosecution charged members of the board of the Latvian company Arta-F LLC, Vladislav and Vitaliy Andreyev, with supplying sewing fittings and various raw materials for the production of uniforms for the Russian army worth more than 6 million euros, as well as money laundering, reported the Postimees portal.
According to the State Security Service, after the start of the war, Arta-F supplied Russian companies «BTK Group» and «Okrug» with fasteners, buckles, and other clothing elements by order of the Ministry of Defense. In total, more than 1000 tons of products were delivered, amounting to over 6 million euros.
Moreover, during the investigation, it was revealed that the company registered in Latvia had deliberately used other companies, including shell companies, as intermediaries to conceal this illegal cooperation since 2023.
In 2022, Arta-F's turnover was 8.062 million euros, and the profit was 983,930 euros. Financial data for subsequent years were not disclosed, and the company entered bankruptcy proceedings.
