Ukrainian drones attacked the "Archeda" railway station in the city of Frolovo, Volgograd region, authorities stated that "transport and energy sector objects" were hit.
As reported by the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov, efforts are underway to extinguish a fire in the station's technical building, windows in two adjacent residential buildings were shattered, the passenger infrastructure of the railway station was not damaged. To dispose of the unexploded UAV located on the railway tracks, train movement in the area of the Archeda station in the Frolovo district is temporarily restricted, sappers are working.
Airports in Volgograd and Tambov have suspended operations, at least five passenger trains in this direction are delayed.
The Ministry of Defense reported intercepting 61 drones, including 18 over the Black Sea, 12 over the Voronezh region, and 11 over annexed Crimea, 8 over the Belgorod region, and 6 over the Volgograd region.
