In St. Petersburg, a 14-year-old teenager set fire to an inactive police station on Moskovsky Prospekt, reported the regional Investigative Committee.

As "Fontanka" writes, the suspect was quickly detained, and he turned out to be a native of Azerbaijan. He confessed that he met a girl on social media who asked him to share the geolocation of popular places, but after receiving the photo, she deleted the conversation and blocked the new friend.

Soon, an unknown person called the teenager, convincing him that the information provided was used for criminal purposes. To avoid consequences, the unknown person said it was necessary to set fire to the former police station. For this, the schoolboy was promised 250,000 rubles.

The young man followed instructions to make a Molotov cocktail and threw it at the inactive police station, after which he photographed the fire and fled. The roof of the building was burned out.

Following the arson, the investigation initiated a case of terrorism, with the penalties for this article ranging from 12 to 20 years.
